HOW TO APPLY YOUR OVERGRIP
Remove the Plastic Film
• Your overgrip has a protective plastic film on both sides.
• Carefully peel off the clear plastic film from both the front and back before starting.
Find the Tapered End
• Locate the tapered (narrow) end of the overgrip. This is where you will begin wrapping.
• Peel off the small adhesive backing from the tapered end to expose the sticky surface.
Start Wrapping from the End Cap
• Apply on top of your existing grip.
• Hold your paddle upside down, with the handle pointing upward.
• Place the adhesive side of the tapered end on the edge of your paddle's end cap, on top of the existing stock grip.
• Begin wrapping around the handle at a slight diagonal angle.
• Overlap each wrap slightly to create your desired grip thickness:
• If you want a thicker grip, overlap more.
• If you prefer a thinner grip, overlap less.
Secure the Finishing Tape
• Once you reach the top of the handle, smooth out the final wrap for a clean finish.
• Apply the included finishing tape to secure the end of the overgrip in place.
• No cutting required! Our overgrips are pre-cut specifically for pickleball paddles, ensuring a hassle-free application with no extra waste.
Have Questions?
We Have Answers.
Do I need to remove my existing grip before applying the overgrip?
No, our overgrips are designed to be applied over your existing stock grip for added comfort, tackiness, and control. Do not remove your existing grip.
How often should I replace my overgrip?
It depends on how often you play, but we recommend replacing your overgrip every 2-4 weeks for the best performance. If your grip feels slippery or worn, it’s time for a fresh one!
Can I reuse my overgrip?
Overgrips are single-use and are meant to be replaced once worn out. For best results, apply a new one when needed.
What if my overgrip feels too thick or too thin?
You can adjust the thickness by changing the amount of overlap while wrapping. More overlap = thicker grip. Less overlap = thinner grip.
Is the overgrip sweat-resistant?
Yes! Our overgrips are designed for maximum moisture absorption, ensuring a dry and secure grip even during intense play.
